Insomnia Interferring with Work.
I'm not sure how to handle this. Changing my hours isn't really an option; right now I work from 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM. I thought my body would get used to it, but it hasn't.
I have a prescription for Trazodone, but I haven't been taking it because I don't have insurance right now and frankly, it makes it impossible for me to get up in the morning.
I was still awake at 3 AM today, and I was planning on waking up at 7:30. I woke up every hour until my alarm, hit snooze, and slept through it until about 9/9:30. (I should have just stayed up all night.) By the time I would have gotten to work, it would have been at least 10:30/11...
Should I talk to my boss? Part of me feels stupid because it doesn't seem like an actual "issue," know what I mean? Not important enough, or something...I worry that she'll say something like, "Just go to bed earlier."
*sigh*
