what happens when you "ignore" a person?
Errr, yeah. I've looked around and I couldn't see a thread asking this, so I hope I'm not wasting space.
I'm not exactly sure about the "ignore" tool. Does it hide posts from the ignored person? and does it mean that the Ignored person cannot see what you've posted. If not, is there a way you can stop certain people seeing your posts?
I hope that made sense

When you ignore a person, do they know you've ignored them? Do the mods know?

you cant see the post but it says something like, this is a post from an ignored person, or something like that, then gives you the option to unignore it and view it.
i donmt think the person knows your ignoring them, it would kind of cause issues if they could.

That was what I was aiming for in my original post, but it just hides them from me. I wonder if theres a way to do it? Or maybe ask for it to be done?
But who would I ask? Any ideas?
