Hey honey..
Don't be ashamed! There is no need to be

Um EMDR means Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, It is some kind of therapy used to treat PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and other similar disorders such as phobias on a short-term basis.

Not sure if i have helped you, Make sure the wounds on your breasts are kept clean; You can easily catch the stitches on a bra and such.
Be careful, Keep us updated.

I have cut my breast before as well. It wasn't anything too serious and hasn't left a scar. Just letting you know you are not alone on this one! lol.

I've also cut my boobs, and I don't want to be the voice of negativity here but they scarred worse than anywhere else.

i have had EMDR, it didnt work too well for me as you have to really get into it. i only really had the first few steps and gave it up.

what happened was a psychologist told me to think of a place i felt safe then did a bit of tapping on each of my hands, but you can also move your eyes or respond to clicking, the tapping just worked a little better for me.

the psychologist also explained that later on in the treatment you are asked to remember a traumatic event and the tapping that you have associated with being in a safe place will help you feel safe, as well as it stimulating both sides of your brain to help you process the memory.

sorry its an awful explanation but im pretty tired, but if you look on the internet there might be some info you can get.

feel free to pm me, if you have any other questions, but like i said i only did it a few times and didnt complete the therapy because i couldnt concentrate enough. i hope it helps for you and hope this post has given you a bit of info.

good luck with it sweetheart, take care x

Ive Had EMDR

i have had EMDR and it worked quit grandly, there is alot to it though so it might be good if you wnt some in depth information on it if you pm me since i can not remember if we can give out our email addresses here or not. i would be more than willing to give you all th einformation you may need or want the subject. there really is no way to see whether it will work for you or not unless you try it first, and it is one of things you need to give a fair chance to before making the decision to end this type or therapy or not. im sorry im not much help at this moment with this, but please feel free to send me a message and i will give you all th edetails i have and know on it.
