Ok, most likely i'm missing the obvious here, but can someone please explain how the journals work; the ins and outs the journal settings are really confusing me..

Just as an example, there's the option to have private entries, but then there's categories too for the entries and eeeeeee, i have no idea what i'm on about now

It is quite feature rich, so at first there are some things to get your head around. Easy whe you know how though :)
