i was first put on prozac that did nothing for me at all.
then i was put on citalopram, which made alot more of a diffrence. Its worth a shot though.
im on mirtazapine now which works alot better for me then either of the above. but citalopram is ok.
they dont all have the same effect in my experience each is different, you just need to try and find the one that suits you, you may have to try several medications before you find the right one

I took one dose of Citalopram yesterday&I haven't taken todays dosage because the side effects were AWFUL.
I am going back tomorrow to my doctor with regards to this.
Everyone is different, however, and it's all about trial and error. What works for some may not for others, & vice versa.

The only side effect of citalipram is restless legs which eases after a while. It caused a few days of slight nausea but otherwise it is a good med for me. Best I've had tbh.
Give it a try. Ya never know until you try and everyone is differant.

I want to kiss the bottom of the ocean before I burst through its surface into the sunlight, otherwise I will always be wondering about what was left unseen at the bottom
i'm tired of chasing my dreams.
i'm just gonna ask where they're going,
and hook up with them later.

hi i was on it for a while. didnt do anything for me, as they were only treating for me for depression when that was really just a part of the bigger picture (bipolar i am!) but i know people who it worked fantasticly with, you may have to try lots of different ones to find one that works well for you. i'm still trying to find one that works well for me. and i know my dad tried loads and loads, but now is on something that works fantasticly for him. its worth giving them a go, and not being worried about going back and saying if it isnt working for you.
hope it works for you! xxx

I took citalopram and had nothing, no side effects or nothing.
However my mum is currently on it and it's working wonders for her.

Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back, everything is different…
