Clozapine - is anyone here on it?

Is anyone here on Clozapine?

PM me if you want a PDF copy of the ICD-10 or the Mental Health Act 1983/2007. I ALSO HAVE THE DSM-V BOOK and am a pharmacology student.

I have a visual impairment / neurological problems so I need people to type in clear text and no funny fonts. Also excuse any typos, my vision blocks things out.
I have autism and have problems communicating, PMs included.
Just becasue I type well doesn't mean I speak well. I am only part time verbal.

Hm. That's strange.
I am of Mediterranean origin so I never wear more than SPF 12, even if I'm on the equator. I never burn, I just turn brown.

It does make you more prone to the suns rays and my mate/neighbour who is on it has a script for factor 45 as she only has to look at the sun and she burns! She didn't before.

The Clozapine has so far made me feel calmer, but the Voices/visual hallucinations/paranoia is still there and it affects my life quite a lot. Hence why my psych raised the dose.

i'm glad it's making you feel calmer and more yourself. i hope they manage to get it to a dose that helps the symptoms go away but still doesn't bother you with side-effects. keep on keeping on :) xxx

Thanks Laura.
I went for a 30 minute run today, which raised my energy levels.
I have decided that I will do more exercise in order to raise my energy levels.

So happy to hear that you are able to run again Oly, I know that this is something that you have done alot of in the past. Everyday I see you post and see how well you are doing. You might not see it but you are doing so much better than you were a couple of months ago, you have more insight and are challenging the voices and mindreaders more than you were. I reckon the Clozapine is having a positive effect. Stay with it hun!

Aw those are good words to my ears. Thank you for telling me this as I sometimes find it hard to realise alone.
Clozapine does has the best recovery rate attached to it.
Thanks.
How are you?
