basically, when you plug it in it should ask you if you want to sync your iPod with the current library, and you should uncheck it so it wont undelete it.

I think thats it anyway.

if worst comes to the worst, there are free programmes that can get your music off your iPod onto your comptuer. google them
sorry i cant eb more help.

You could reveal the hidden files in your iPod.

It saves them all as randomly named (as far as I can figure) itunes files.

You won't have a nice neat lot of music in terms of your files in windows, but you can add them all back onto your iTunes library.

That's what I did anyway.

It's a bit of a pain, but if you save them all on your laptop, it should work.

Before you connect your iPod to iTunes, go to iTunes and somewhere in one of the menus is an option to manually manage your music when connecting an iPod. Just make sure it's not going to sync your iPod. That way when you plug it in, the music already on there will stay and you can add more stuff manually.

Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back, everything is different…

you once called your brain a hard drive, well say hello to the virus.
