So,say you're going out with someone.
Head over heels for them.
You know they love you back.
BUT.
They fancy someone else.
Acceptable to you?
Or
Not acceptable to you?
"Watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it."
Love has millions of different meanings.
You could fancy someone, and be just like yeah okay and never do anything about it,
or you could fancy someone and then cheat on your bf/gf.
You love a family member, but not the way you love your bf/gf.
That doesnt make much sense, but hope it helps (:

Ralph wept for the end of innocence, the darkness of man's heart, and the fall through the air of a true, wise friend called Piggy.
If we dont get home soon, we'll be barmy..
Whether it's acceptable or not is neither here nor there, I wouldn't have thought, cos.. it is what it is, but I'd not be happy if I were you. Hypothetically speaking ;)
yeah, i think a crush is okay. if it was someone they had regular/close contact with i'd be a bit suspicious/paranoid/jealous but if not, i think that is alright.
AS long as its look but don't touch I wouldn't be too bothered.
I mean if they love you, and don't plan to act on this crush, then thats pretty dedicated, and fair enough.
You can't control the occasional crush, after all.

Linda said exactly what I was going to, in coherent sentences.
You can't lose hope when it's hopeless.
You gotta hope more,
then put your fingers in your ears and go,
"Blah blah blah blah!"
Depends who the person was and how they like acted on it. If it was someone they spoke too or saw a lot then I would "flip a bitch" to steal someone elses words!
But then again I have really bad paranoir (sp?) issues in relationships anyway due to what has happened in the past (and I was right every time), so I would freak out probably even if the situation wasn't that bad.
If it was a crush - well, crushes happen. If it could develop into something more, if they spent a lot of time together, if they were very close - then I think it breaches into the 'unacceptable'
Eh... it would depend. If they had *feelings* for someone else... drop them like soap. However, if they just find someone else highly attractive on a physical level, and were totally like "I would" then... well, that's entirely different. Fancying/having a crush on someone is fairly vague.
If they love you and do not love this other person, I see no problem.
And he brought me into a vast farmlands of our own midwest. And as we descended, cries of impending doom rose from the soil. One thousand, nay a million voices full of fear. And terror possesed me then. And I begged, "Angel of the Lord, what are these tortured screams?" And the angel said unto me, "These are the cries of the carrots, the cries of the carrots! -- Not a vegetarian
if you're with anyone for a length of time chances are there'll always be the occasional person you find attractive - the question is what you do about it... so if they're saying 'yes, that person's attarctive but I'm not going to take it further' that's one thing, if they're 'that person's attractive so I'm going to spend time with them' that's a bit of a danger signal
If im head over heels about them, then I clearly trust them I wouldnt mind if they had a crush, but if they talked about them a lot, or cancelled plans we had to hang out with that other person or gave me reason to be concerned then i probably wouldnt like it...otherwise *Shrugs* people are naturally going to find more than just 1 person attractive.
If it is someone they know in real life then I wouldn't be okay with it. Thinking someone is attractive is okay, but if it qualifies as a crush I would be unhappy about it. If it's a celebrity then it doesn't matter, because that's just a fantasy for most people. Fantasizing about a person who is actually available could end up hurting a relationship, in my opinion. Just thinking someone else is hot is just human for most people.
