Journal question!

If I delete my journal and then get Harley to put it back, would that unsubscribe the people who have subscribed? I made it private for a reason >.<

I'm not sure, how about making a post and asking people to respond if they can read the message? Although, you could always use the journal on your chat account or use an external journal if you're extremely concerned about it. Sorry I'm not much use, free bumpage if anything. ;)

there are two people i know who are subscribed and a couple i suspect that i do NOT want to be able to read it but i know they would never admit to subscribing either. i might just havr to use my chat account. thanks joshy

I know it's off on a complete tangent, but perhaps it's best for you to move away from a RYL journal and just have an LJ or something you can link to from your profile or signature.

That way, you can control exactly who reads it and who doesn't, as they'd have to ask you first if you make it friends only.

If it's made private after people have subscribed to it then can it still be seen by people not on your buddy list?

I've a journal, it is private and I don't have anyone on my buddy list for the simple reason I don't want anyone reading my journal. However I am thinking about changing it so it is no longer private, only the things I have written in it thus far are because neither do I want people knowing about what I have written and trust me, they're not the funnest things to read or even that coherant unless you have my mind!

if people are subscribed, even if you take everyone off your buddy list and make it private they can see it. it's a very scary and effective way of stalking you on here, since you can't prove it, unless they make a commet that they would have had to have gotten from a journal entry. so yeah, i think i'll just stick to journaling off here >.<

Hmmm, yeh. That isn't the best thing. You could use your chat account and have it private from the beginning but... yeh, if you use another thing totally separate it may feel more 'comfortable' if you get what i mean
