How can i help myself stop these flashbacks?

When i was little my dads bro used to touch my up a lot. When i was 16 i'm now 22 i was rapped and beaten by my boyfriend at the time and had to have an abortion. Now i keep thinking about all the things that happened. i can stop them by reading or the tv. But now there getting really strong and i can see, hear and feel it. and can't make them stop when they start then i have a panic attack and sometimes pass out from them i have depression and panic disorder and bpd.. i tryed all i can think of to make them stop but nothing is working. i start counselling again in the new year. i just don't know what to do. i just wonna cut so bad

i'm really sorry you had to go through that, thats absolutely awful and nobody should have to go through that. have you tried grounding techniques for flashbacks? i think there is a post about them on the 'abuse and bullying' forum. i can find it for you if you want and think it will help? also could you maybe speak to a doctor about getting some medication that might help you calm down and relax you if you are having a panic attack, so that you don't pass out? i just want you to know that i care, and know you can get through this. pm if you need anything xxx

I think writing it down in a journal would help or expressing it another way like drawing or something.
I've know what flashbacks are like, thay can be very traumatic, all i would say is don't try and block them/fight them off as they will only come back worse.

Having a compassionate witness to the flashbacks, like a therapist, can help your body and psyche shift from the locked in the trauma place. You've been through so much, it won't just go away, rather, it needs to be expressed in a safe place.
