Creative Zen X-Fi problems...
Hey, this is a technical question
I got a Creative Zen X-Fi 16Gb Wireless LAN player for Christmas, and have spent the last day and a half trying to set it up to enable the IM feature of MSN.
I have created an account on the Creative site, as the instruction manual just about told me to. I have activated it, for all the good it's done me. I've created an Avatar and I've set it up to take my Wireless Network as the BTHomeHub, to which it connects occasionally (always tells me that it can't find the server?)
I've enabled the software on the PC to allow the player to pick up the music and stream it that way.
I can get as far as My Friends, then it tells me it is unable to connect to the server... Which I guess it needs to in order to get to the IM Chat Gateways section as the instructions tells me to.
It's probably something really obvious that I haven't done yet, but can anyone shed any light on the situation?
Oh, and I've upgraded the firmware to the most recent one, which included a patch for the IM feature, recommended by Creative and the Internet alike.
Anyone got anything I can try?
