Thanks Marie.

I'm just... stuck in a panic attack. The causes are complex, and I'm not up to going into all the details here.
But having people around, including in RYL-land, helps.

Does feeling things, anything comforting, like soft, cuddly or warm help? Concentrating on texture, temperature and squishyness for example.

Im sure you have tried relaxation techniques, I have too, so Im not gonna insult you by saying you should try them, but closing your eyes and concentrating on relaxing each part of your body at a time in co-ordination with breathing if possible, is the best one I know.

*puts a fluffy cushion next to you*

And your drink? What would you like? :)

I've got a blanket around me. I've just got my stress ball out of my drawer... [but I can't squeeze it and type, lol!]
I'll do the relaxation when I go to bed, which will be soon. And meds, too.

Pre-menstrualness isn't helping things any.

Thank God/ess for complementary medicine...

And it's the shortest day..which intensifies any darkness.

Oh I hate winter darkness too, have you ever tried a lightbox? If not, walks in the middle of the day for 30mins minimum are supposed to help 'just as much' according to a CPN.

I, for some reason get angry at stress balls, they make me MORE stressed. Cuddly fluffy toys all the way for me!

If your experiancing pain, a tens machine may be of help, if you prefer non invasive treatments/medicines. It releases endorphins, which I believe make you feel better in general too. (they range from 8-20 quid) I have used my dads in the last couple of days and it relaxes me a bit, its like a soothing massage.

*sends more internet love* :)

Thank you.
I'm not so panicky this morning. But I don't feel that much better.
Not much physical pain. It's the emotional that is the trouble. I'm hoping that when my period starts I'll feel much better. I hope.
I didn't go out at all yesterday, which was probably a bad move...
I've work this afternoon.
And I have to get a new watch battery fitted, because to top it all yesterday, my watch stopped..

Thank you.

My period has started, and hurts. But not as bad as it could be.

The mornings are so dark, that so doesn't help with all the shadowy stuff in my head.

How can you let some light into the outside and inside your head?

I put it down on paper and then the ghost does not ache so much.

Don't try to calm the storm, calm yourself, the storm will pass.

I'm not sure... it's so so grey outside. When I get home I'll put all my lights on in my room and light a candle, too.
I'm considering buying one of those special daylight simulator lamps or whatever they're called..

Thanks. :)
