I've been really stable this past week, but today I feel more low, agitated, grumpy and sad.
I guess it's partly because I'm pre-menstrual, and also the therapy break.
And I sense that recent deep and powerful shifts in my healing and recovery also means lots of feelings coming forward alongside that which I need to untangle.
Can I please have some hugs, support and encouragement, please?
*hugs*
you can do this, i believe in you.
thinking about you.

remember, even when this world throws its worst and then turns its back,
there is still always hope.”
Thanks everyone. I really appreciate the support.
Things are pretty hard again this evening. But I'm doing my best to reflect to stabilise and soothe myself. And I've just taken a dose of my homeopathy remedy, and that's shifting things too.
sitting here thinking about what to say to you
feels like i know you a little
and am connecting with you with that
a fragile person
a good person
you have a heart
wish i could sit with you
maybe pass you something to nibble on or sip
sit with you and blow raspberries at the world
flick bogies at passing seagulls
not eachothers.... obviously
er...
think i lost it there a bit
still
years ago
got a letter when i was in the civil service
it was signed
G. Clamp
made me laugh

Reason: typo
it's hard to know what to say, without patronising, because I hate sounding like what others say to me...
but as long as you know others are holding out hope for you, then you have that. But you have that here (i guess that sounds cheesy but hey). Going through my first sessions of therapy i can only equate it to having a physical operation and not being sutured after it at all. So I told my therapist who suggested I stop therapy for a while and attend a DBT skills/emotional regulation skills group for as many sessions as I feel helpful. I think that's why so many NHS hospitals don't offer inpatient talking therapy, because you need helpful coping mechanisms to deal with all the buried stuff that comes up in therapy (especially cognitive-analytic therapy). It's no good if you invest a lot of time, and in some cases money, in therapy if you get back home and restart unhelful coping mechanisms. (I realize that I sound like I've been in the mental health system for a while, and I have. Unfortunately.)
Things are up and down anxiety speaking. I'm containing things safely. I'm very hormonal, which always stirs up the muddy stuff at the bottom of my psyche. I'm going to do my best to nurture myself today, though.
