Why is there still a warning label for *BMI/weight/numbers* in the Rant and Vent forum?

If its against rules to post numbers? :S

Doesnt it confuse people into thinking they cant post weights and BMIs so long as they lable correctly?

That is actually funny.
I got a warning for saying amount of weight lost as a number in a thread of mine in R/V.
Heh heh heh...classic.

I think it's a case of someone not getting around to taking it down after the initial Trial period.
As the rule is now in place though, it should be taken down because as you've said it could be confusing for people.
But yes..i do think it's just a case of Mods not getting around to deleting it. =] x

Okay, I just wondered. Im not complaining, just wondered if it meant anything or if I was missing something.

I saw someones post was edited and thought, but thats unfair cos it insinuates they can post if they lable correctly. It may have been your post colloquial actually.

Thankies xx

Good Question Marie. These also have to be taken out of the journals as well.

Also... do you think it might be a good idea to put that rule in the general RYL rules... as I know of quite a few members who have an ED who do not use the ED forum for different reasons and therefore would not know these rules are in place.

Acrasia, they aren't official rules yet, though.
We're still in the trial period, and there is to be a review of them in January.

Jo, that is why they haven't been added to the main RYL rules yet right?

There's still the label inthe MH forum too, which confused me the other day...

Wake me up before I change again
Remind me the story that I won't get insane
Tell me why it's always the same
Explain me the reason why I'm so much in pain.

Okay now I am officially confused... mainly because of this in the rule changes thread in the ED forum...

"These changes will come into effect from 01/10/08 at 12am BST (GMT + 1), and will be reviewed in the first week of January 2009"

I get that they are in effect and will go under review come january, but members are still technically breaking these rules.

People part of the ED board regularly should have definitely read this and known, despite the labels that did not get taken off.... but as i said before... what about the members that struggle and are NOT part of the Ed board and would not know to look there for the rules?

kate, that is why in the first...i think ti was 6 weeks? we basically jsu tedited peopels posts and left it, unless they repteadly broke the rules despite beign told over and over. the majority of people who post weights are in ED. if they're not, ti only tkaes one editing of hteir post to now the rules.

yeah, the rules stand untill they are repealed, which would only happen after the review is finished.

and, though we're aim for the first week in januray, the actual wording of th epost was 'some time in january' as we cant predict the future.
