Firstly I would like to change the title of my thread to suit the way my posts are going and have not been able to - I'm not sure whether that's because it would be the second change and I therefore require a moderator to do it for me. However, the second issue I have is that I realistically need to add a trigger warning that involves self injury, suicidal ideation and also involves eating disorders. I know that I can add a specific title to an individual post but would like to warn all potential readers that the ED warning is there as well right from the beginning. I was just wondering if there is an easy way to do this. Can someone please advise ??

Also, the CT is working on updating the trigger warnings, we can consider having a SH/Suicide/ED trigger.

What do you mean when you say that you have not been able to change the title of your thread? What happens when you try?
I've tried all the methods I could find in the three threads talking about changing the title. I have changed it once before, but since then: double clicking doesn't bring up a change title box, and if I use the Edit -> Go Advanced method it only changes the title on the first post, not on the thread.

From my point of view that would be incredibly useful. I realise it might not get used a lot, but I use my thread as a full continuation of how my life is going and it can get quite graphic on all three of those topics and I really don't want to spring those things on people, who may be particularly vulnerable.

Well, I have no idea what they are talking about with the double click thing, but the other method you tried doesn't always work, sometimes the old titles seem to get "stuck". The mods can fix it if you report your thread and tell them what you want the title changed to.

Yes, I have noticed that sometimes the thread titles get stuck. If you've tried all the ways you can to change it and it's not working, report your post with what you need it changed to or pm a mod who's online. I'm around right now so I could do it for you, but I need to know what thread it is - like in link form. I'm not going to go around changing random titles.

I see you've managed to change it, which is awesome.
The double-click thing is a weird one, because as soon as you do click it, it takes you into the thread. I normally copy the title that I want to change it to, then when I double-click the thread, I can just ctrl&v (paste) it into the title bar, so it changes before it takes you to the thread.
I'm unsure whether you have the ability to do this, but if you go to "Thread Tools" at the top right of your first post and then go to "Edit Thread" you should be able to change the main title there. However, that may be a mod-only feature.
I sorted this out for you earlier, and if it happens again & you still can't find a way to do it then you're more than welcome to report it to a mod to change for you. :)
