Triggering (SI) - crashing
had a good few days, maybe almost a week, had good day today, rusty brought 2 more guinea pigs home, theyre only babies and theyre adorable. now just feel like im crashing. spent way too much money at tesco, feel guilty, want to cut but going out tomorrow, mind you maybe itll help me manage to go out. i dont know, my brain is making me feel and think bad things but i dont want to cut cos we have a friend staying. im such a screwup, i might have to cut anywasy, maybe whenn she goes to bed. but then i go to bed first, i dont know. i hate feeling like this, i thought i was doing better.

sorry you're feeling like this hun, i know how you feel, is it not because you have had a few good days and things have gone well? do you not then think about how things aren't crappy and then think yourself into a bad mindset if that makes sense. try to get some sleep, maybe if you are going out tomorrow then you can focus on that n try n take your mind off things xx

Oh hun, you aren't a screw up. No way. You are just having a hard time. I'm sad about that. *hugs*
I'm glad you came here to share it with us and I hope you are able to resist those thoughts and urges because you don't deserve the pain.
Try to rest or talk to us some more if you need to. Journal, do some art work that expressing your feelings, or something else that helps if you aren't able to rest.
Please hang in there. We really care about you.
*offers more hugs*

You don't have to cut at all. You can try the ice cube or rubber band tricks until you learn better ways to cope. My doctor told me them when I stayed in hospital. He said simply flicking your wrist with a rubber band will do the same without leaving scars or being dangerous........mind you I'm not trying to encourage you to cause yourself pain.

Theres no shame in feeling low for a few days - Its wonderful that you have had a good week. Try hugging a teddybear, having a hot chocolate and really concentrating on the sensation of drinking it or calling a anonymous helpline (even if you have to go outside or sit in the bathroom to do it.)
If you need any help baby, just PM me.

From Queer as folk. Ted convincing Emmet that he isn't a freak.
"God created you in His image. At least that's what I was always taught. And since God is love and God doesn't make mistakes, then you must be exactly the way he wants you to be, the way he intended you to be. And that goes for every person, every planet, every mountain, every grain of sand, every song, every tear, and every faggot. We're all His, Emmett. And he loves us all."
