I had a terrible time and had to come off it. I was exhausted but couldn't get to sleep, achy, upset tummy etc. I gave it about 3 months before getting switched off. The side effects never got better and the medication did not help me. But I've had problems with other ones in the past.
As far as the drug in general Lexapro is a pretty good one. It is fairly new and my doctor said she see's better results on it in most people than some of the older drugs like Zoloft. I believe it is a different drug family than Zoloft and Prozac.

Fight for another day

I haven't had that problem with lexapro and I am on 20mg however when I first started taking the lexapro it did make me feel nauseas. However that side-affect went within the first week. How long have you been on the lexapro for? If not for very long, the side effects may pass. If they don't or if it worries you then you are best of talking to your doctor about it. Take care

Heya, fatigue is a very common side effect of this medicine so I wouldn't worry much about it, it should wear off with time. If you start noticing more symptoms however, it might be good to speak to your doctor to see if there's anything that can be done about it.
Take care.
