Triggering (Suicide) - Fine fine fine and then

crash.

5 minutes.

Elated to suicidal.
Like, getting dressed and going out of the house and driving somewhere to do something suicidal.

I know meds take a while to get used to, and it's only been like 5 days on them or something, but ****.

I'm panicing, I can't breathe, I'm crying, I'm hitting myself and I'm > < close to cutting or just leaving the house iwth all my blades.

I ****ING HATE THIS.

The constant battle in my head.
High versus low.

Having a name to it doesn't help. It just makes it worse. What the **** does "bipolar" mean anyway?

Means I'm a **** up and I have been more or less since birth.

Idontknowwhattodo.

I don't even know why I'm posting this.

It does NOT mean you're a **** up. It means you have massive mood swings which you just described! Elated to suicidal. Massive mood swing, would you not agree?

Chels, you CAN get past this. you CAN! you should be in bed sleeping anyways! *cuddles you tightly* Honey i have faith in you. I KNOW you can do this!

Chels, having bipolar disorder does not mean you are a **** up any more than having major depressive disorder means I am a **** up... or someone with borderline personality disorder is a **** up. The key word here is: disorder. There is something wrong, it is a condition luv, not some character flaw.
*hugs*

Chels, I have no idea what to say to help. I wish I did because I would say it like, now.

But I don't and I wish I did. I don't know much about bipolar disorder. I could tell you about the time I was on a medication that gave me those sorts of mood swings. But that wouldn't really help.

I don't think you're a screw up of any sort. I think maybe you have a problem where you need a little bit of help. I have a problem where I need a bit of help and if I don't have that help, I cannot function.

UUuum. I think you're awesome though. I'm sorry I didn't have anything helpful to say. Maybe you could talk to whoever is prescribing the stuff to you?

A diagnoses and 5 days of meds isnt going to magically make you better. Many people actually feel worse before the meds start to work.

As far as i can see this diagnoses has no negatives for you what-so-ever. You have thought you were bi-polare for the last few years anyway. Nothing has changed.

To me all i see are positives to this. You can now have treatment specifically oriented toward the illness. You can have meds to help. Your parents can now see yoiu arent a lazy fat cow and as you said they are actually listening now for the first time ever.

Just because you got this thing that potentially you could have for ever doesnt mean you have to suffer it. Ive sad in this on another thread of yours. START LISTENING! People want to help. Can help and will help.

You can live a great life. You aint your illness.

You're not a **** up Chels.

The meds will take longer to work than five days, but its horrible to feel good one minute then **** the next.

Just gotta give it time.

Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back, everything is different…

As above.
You're not a **** up, Love. You have a disorder, and that is nothing against you.

Like its been said - you need to give the meds time to work, 5 days is not long enough. The active ingredient needs time to get out of your intestines into your blood stream, then through that into the brain where they'll do their good work. But they will start to work. It'll be quite gradual at first so that you don't notice it, but then, all of a sudden, you'll realise that you've not had a problem that you had yesterday for a while.

Just give it some time Love.

Take care

I woke up at about 6am fully dressed with my car keys in my hand on the living room sofa.

I have no recollection of anything last night. I remember making this post but not much/if anything after it.

Like I'd been drinking LOADS but I hadn't touched a drop.
