When do you know?
When do you know that you want to marry someone?
I've been with my boyfriend for almost 2 years now and I'm thinking that I want to marry him... I don't know whether I should be thinking this. It's confusing me...
So yeah... married people when did you know you wanted to marry your partner?
And any other opinions are very welcome!

I'm getting married in 8 days! And I knew about... 5 months in that he was 'the one'. There wasn't any doubt, it just... fit. BUT I know peopel that have been married for over 30 years who still wonder how it happened!

You just know I think. Sounds silly. But if you are thinking that you may like to marry then its probably meaning youre not certain and maybe should wait. I was married for 10 years and was never really sure, I thought Id like to marry him but it was a mistake. Ive been with my new partner for 6 months and I KNOW Id marry him tomorrow if I could.

I think if you find someone that makes you happy, like no matter what, and you can spend endless weeks in their company without getting bored or agitated, loving every minute of it, like you're totally comfortable in their company, then marridge is definately possible.
Plus, you know, I still have part of me that wants to believe in the whole "you just feel it, it clicks and you realise you want to spend the rest of your life with that person" thing.

As heard hearted or whatever as it may seem, my husband and I made sure we had enough in common, that we were suited. Politics, religeon, money matters. I thought of it as presenting our resumes (cv) to each other. At the end of three months, we were discussing marriage. We had to finish uni, so we married 15 months after we met.
I believe in growing in love more than falling in love. The falling in love may burn out. My husband is not in my heart, he is my heart. He is my best friend. I like him, i trust him. I loved him some when we got married. I love him more even now. We've been married for 19 years.
nothing romantic there, just hard headed sense.

My husband is my best friend.
In forgiving others, we are not exonerating them. They may not deserve exoneration. Rather, in forgiving others we are giving up our anger over the fact that what happened is not what "should" have happened or that our life is not the way it "should" have been.
