i guess it would depend on what kind of councilling - like what issues its about, and whether your not wanting input from like psychiatry people. the best option may be to go to your gp and speak to him/her about it and ask for a referral to someone. a lot of people are put of by psychiatry but you wouldn't nesecarily see a psychiatrist, it could be a councillour/psychologist/psychotherapist, so it some thing maybe to think about and your gp would probably be able to direct you to someone to help with your particular situation.

Quick google search showed this: http://www.scottishmarriagecare.org/REACT/

Otherwise I would primarily suggest seeing your GP.

Are you at university? They tend to have counselling services that are free. Otherwise your GP could refer you or point you in the direction of free counselling. Citizen's Advice Bureau might also be able to help.

Thanks guys.

I already see my GP and she made me go to see a phyciatrist once, but I never went back as I had my Social Worker to help me. But now I dont have her anymore, so I need help. My GP just tells me to phone my social worker, but it doesnt help when the the social worker doesnt reply, or breaks appointments.

I'm at College. Thanks

Could you go back to your GP and ask to be referred again? Do you think that would help? Explain your situation to them and see what they say.

I went to my GP who referred me to this thing... couldn't tell you what it is, but it's in the Gorbals. The building I was in was called "Family and Adolsecent Psychiatric Building" if that helps at all. Anyway, it's for people under 18, and I went there for therapy until recently. And even though i'm 18, i'm allowed to go back, but if I need like, continuous therapy, they'll refer me to someone who deals with people over 18.

I would just recommend that you go back to your GP, and ask to be referred to someone other than a social worker. I can't imagine a social worker can do much tbh.

Or like what has been said above, your College probably has some kind of counselling services, I know my Uni does.

But if i still believe you love me, maybe i'll survive.
So i tell myself you're coming home, like you've done a million times.
& if it's alright, i'll still be loving you.
'cause i can't break it to my heart.

It really depends on where you live in glasgow, different areas have different things available
