Oh God Help Me!! (Vet Mission!)

2 of our closest friends are emigrating to Aus next year & this will be our last NYE together (unless by some miracle we win the lotto so can afford to ever go visit 'high season!' & we wanna do or go somewhere that is different from what we usually do (which involves, drinking, partying the ususal! - all of which car stay involves but somewhere different!) that doesn't cost the earth & moon!

My other half wants to go to a theme bar (which is fine with us) but the only one I can find is in Glasgow!!

Anyone got any ideas or know of anywhere, slightly south-er than Glasgow that would be good!??

Oh Arse!

I havent a clue then. When i had a life we (all my friends) used to do something together for Christmas night and New years eve. From Karaoke to Comedy club to posing in expensive clothes drugged to the eye-balls in over priced night clubs to Just going down the pub in fancy dress.

Probably the nicest one was for the millenium. 12 of us all at a friends for Dinner. I cooked >.< We had big cigars, Champagne, fireworks and ***** loads of food and drink.

Nothing pretentious and it was just lovely to all be breaking bread together. There was something really honest and true about it. (i cooked more than bread btw :P)

Im sure you will come up with something. If you are the kinda people that "do" things anyways im sure something will turn up.
