Mianserim/Tolvon/Tetracyclics

Ok, firstly I know everyone's experience is different, and I wouldn't normally ask about medication. However I have never even heard of the tetracyclics, and I've searched the forum and I just wanted to know if anyone could tell me anything about it or any kind of tetracyclic. I know you are not doctors, I have just been told by my doctor the usual, and I just want to see if anyone has experiences good or bad, and if you can tell me what you were struggling with when you were put on it.

I did a wiki search and found that I'm actually on a tetracyclic (mirtazapine) which is apparantly similar to Tolvon.

Mirtazapine helped me enormously with my mood, I felt normal on it for nine months, but after that I started to feel depressed again.

Mirtazapine for the first two weeks pretty much knocked me out as soon as I took it, but that wore off and now I don't feel so drowsy, but I still sleep 11 hours per night.
