Triggering (SI) - Depression
I feel so depressed lately and I am struggling to cope. I had begun to get better and life was going good, I was actually enjoying it. Now everything has changed and I cant see a way out. Im not at the stage where I want to end things, I dont know how long it would take to get to that stage again. I am self harming everyday, which is making me withdrawn. I think my mum knows I am self harming because I asked her to buy me some plasters. She asks what she can do to help but I just tell her that there is nothing that she can do. I am doing psychotherapy but that is not helping and I am attending a day centre for people with mental illness, but that isnt helping anymore either. I am becoming more depressed and withdrawn, I have spent all day on my own in my room just going on websites about self harm. I feel like I cant tell anyone how bad Im feeling because they wont be able to help me or make me feel better. I just feel so crap, I dont know what to do, I feel like I have gone back to square one again.

*hugs* I think you should make an emergency appointment with your psych.

PM me if you want a PDF copy of the ICD-10 or the Mental Health Act 1983/2007. I ALSO HAVE THE DSM-V BOOK and am a pharmacology student.
I have a visual impairment / neurological problems so I need people to type in clear text and no funny fonts. Also excuse any typos, my vision blocks things out.
I have autism and have problems communicating, PMs included.
Just becasue I type well doesn't mean I speak well. I am only part time verbal.

I agree with SM. You need to do something to prevent yourself deteriorating any further. On some level you obviously want the help or else you would not have posted on here. Can you call the day center or someone in your care team tomorrow and arrange to see them?

Im going to the day centre tomorrow, I go there Mon-Fri, I think I will wait until my nurse has the weekly chat with me, so I will tell her then. I also have a review on Wednesday with the consultant psych and I will have to summon up the strength to tell him. Last time I had a review, my mum came, but this time I will be on my own so I will have to be really strong and tell him on my own. Im not looking forward to it. Thanks for your support, I couldnt do it without you guys.
