Coming off meds
I have been coming off my olanzapine for a few weeks and I am seeing the doctor tomorrow who will stop it entirely. I am looking forward to coming off it. Olanzapine isnt just an anti-psychotic, in my case it was used to stabalise my mood because at one point I was suicidal. It stops you being depressed, but it also stops the happy emootions coming through (for me anyway) and since coming off the olanzapine, I have found that I am happier and have more energy. I gained a lot of weight on the olanzapine so I will be glad to come off that and hopefully I can lose a bit of weight. Im still on my anti-depressants so they're keeping me from being depressed. Right now life is good, apart from the issue I have with food, Im a recovering bulimic, but have had a few slip ups. But apart from that I am happier in myself.

I want to kiss the bottom of the ocean before I burst through its surface into the sunlight, otherwise I will always be wondering about what was left unseen at the bottom
i'm tired of chasing my dreams.
i'm just gonna ask where they're going,
and hook up with them later.

You'll be surprised to know how far you can go from the point where you thought it was the end.

Well done, I am proud of you.
I'm coming off olanzapine too, but only because I have to start on a new medication and I have to detox.
So well done.

PM me if you want a PDF copy of the ICD-10 or the Mental Health Act 1983/2007. I ALSO HAVE THE DSM-V BOOK and am a pharmacology student.
I have a visual impairment / neurological problems so I need people to type in clear text and no funny fonts. Also excuse any typos, my vision blocks things out.
I have autism and have problems communicating, PMs included.
Just becasue I type well doesn't mean I speak well. I am only part time verbal.
