disability assessments for uni

ive got one 2morrow as i suffer from depression and anxiety. just wondered if anyone else has had one and what i should i expect etc havent got a clue really ive got a contract with the uni like wat they think i need etc.

I haven't yet, but I'm taking in my DSA form to get signed tomorrow so I will be having one in the near future for the same reasons as you.

I had one a couple of years back.
Dont worry about it its very relaxed and stuff.
You will just be in a room alone with the assessor who will suggest things that have been given to students in the past to help them and will ask if you think it would help you. And if theres anything you really struggle with so that they can help with that too.

I know its a little different but i have dyslixia and its same kind of thing they are really nice and only want you to get the best out of uni life dont worry best of luck luv jad

dont stress over it. Its very informal wear whatever you feel comfortable in eg what you wear for uni.
question will just be about what you think you will struggle with thats all its nothing to sterss over,

I`ve done it before, you have nothing to worry about, it will just be you and the person doing the assessment. They will give you a bunch of exercises and stuff to do and they will ask you loads of questions, won`t get too personal though to be honest, just like they`ll test your memory, attention and things like that.

I had mine for dyslexia last week, and go the form back on Friday. I'm really happy with what they've suggested. Hope you found it helped x
