Quick poll!
Random but -
My parents think I have a job but I quit because I couldn't cope - it was with a clothes shop but I felt like all the people who worked there looked down at me and were rude to me.
I have an interview for another shop-floor job today but I've just read that there will be a role play - I'm so scared! Role play?! I don't want to go.
I think I should just cancel.
I can't deal with role play :-S
Argh.
Please help. What do you think?

Ultimately it's your choice but I think you should go if you want the job. Don't worry about the role-play it will probably only last for about 5 mins then be over and done with :) I know role play is scary but if you got the job it would be worth it.
Also if you go for similar jobs in the future they might ask you to do a role play or something similar as well so it will be good to get the experience.

It's scary but at least go and try, even if you're quiet in this one, the next interview you get that involves groups/role-play you'll know what to expect!

Interviews are scary. But a worse feeling is knowing that you at least didn't TRY to get the job.

Go and take the chance, even if it just gives you more interview experience. You'll be ok. everyone else will feel nervous too, and it'll be over in a few minutes!

And to be honest, with role-plays, just be yourself, act as you ordinarily would. It'll be okay. xx

It'll be fine, the other candidates will be in the same position! I had to do role playing at an interview, and it was a bit of a giggle really. It doesn't last long at all.
