Hey, everyone slips up sometimes. It doesn't mean you're not still doing a great job on recovering. Congrats on the two months! Hope you're feeling alright.

Two months is great. Please don't see this as anything other than a slip up. Everyone slips ups sometime as was said ^. Your doing really well, we all know how hard it is to beat.
Is there anything specific that triggered you that you could avoid in the future?
Keep going<3

Would you like to talk about what led you to self harm? Very well done with the two months, that shows that you can do this. I hope that you feel able to get back on the road to recovery. We are all here to support you, please get in touch any time. Take care.

I put it down on paper and then the ghost does not ache so much.

Don't try to calm the storm, calm yourself, the storm will pass.

You didn't come this far just to come this far.

*Hugs* Im sorry that you slipped up, but two weeks free is an excellent achievement!! Well done!! Slipping up is all part of recovery but please dont beat yourself up, you did really well to go so long without harming yourself. Keep fighting you can get through this, dont give up. What was it in particular that caused you to slip up? Would you like to talk to us about it in more detail. We are all here for you to support you through this really difficult time.

Have you tried/thought about distracting yourself? This is a link to the fun and distractions forum http://www.recoveryourlife.com/forum...splay.php?f=22 and this is the big distractions page http://www.recoveryourlife.com/forum...ead.php?t=1403 Please dont let this slip up stop you from recovering. You will be able to get back on track again. Your not back to square one because you have slipped up, try to think of it as a bump on the road to recovery. Keep talking to us.

Take care best wishes Ian

Two months is excellent! Well done for making it that far. Everyone has slip ups. It doesn't mean that you aren't recovering. Can you identify what made you slip-up? Maybe that will help you avoid it in the future.

thanks guys.
honestly i dont know what made me slip up. ive been under alot of stress at college and home, and with mum constantly pestering me to go and see her even though she knows i dont want to, i gues i just got to the point where enough was enough and i needed a release from all the crap, y'know?
