I can't get into chat. Every time I try it says "Authentication failed"?

It's because of the special characters, such as * ~ etc aren't liked by chat. I suggest maybe changing your name so it doesn't contain these special characters, anything else you need should be found in the Using Chat guide. I hope that helps xxx (:

Same thing happened to me so i created myself a 'chat' account and changed my name to alivechat.

so maybe if you do that you'll be right??

Its okay.
Ive already done it.
I just used the same name but without the asterix.
