It's Getting Colder Outside!!! Yay!!!
We will finally have an excuse for wearing jackets and love sleeve shirts all day! i love winter time! my arms are always covered and no one asks me about my arm.... it's just great! i wait all year for winter! not becaue of christmas or any other holiday, but because i get to cover up my scars! can't wait...

I know! I'm so pleased as well. No more three-quarter length sleeves to contend with, no more making bizarre excuses for being covered up whilst trying to hide the fact that I'm melting, no more scouring the shops for tops that hide everything! Anyone not in long sleeves will be considered 'unusual'!
And I love Christmas......

Yes for cold weather again but perhaps we can try to use it as a time for recovery and time for scar reduction so that we don't have to swelter next summer? I feel a bit of a hypocrite saying that having very recently harmed but I am hopeful that I can finally improve this winter. ANyone else?

yes of course recovery is good to work on now too, but my scars don't fade away as fast as others, so i'm taking advantage of the cold weather as long as i can. not to cut but to be considered "normal" and not have people catching the odd glance at my arms. been waiting a whole year for this
