Well, a lot's happened in the last couple of weeks!
On Friday 26th September, Rusty took me to the hospital because I had very itchy hands and feet, which is a bad sign in pregnancy. They took bloods and I expected to go home but they kept me in. When the results came back, they showed my liver wasn't working properly and they said they were going to induce me!
They started there and then, and on saturday they tried prostaglandin, a hormone that helps get things going.
2am saturday night labour suddenyl started and continued for 14 hours, til 15.49 on sunday when Harlan Josiah was born, weighing 6lb15oz. I lost a fair bit of blood so we stayed in hospital til wednesday, when I'd had enough and discharged myself lol.
Harlan is absolutely gorgeous, and has really really long hair (just like his Dad

).
We're getting support from a parent and baby day unit (I have "nursery support" so they can help me when I'm finding it hard to look after him and me, and I'm seeing their resident psychiatrist, who's upped my meds), but we're managing - and nothing is better than having his asleep in my arms, or looking up at me with his big eyes
He's stirring now... nope he's gone back to sleep

Poor little man's got a bit of a cold so he's being a grouch lol. He looks so adorable today though, mylittle goth boy, wearing a skull and crossbones tshirt a friend bought for him
