why is it that the media think it's ok to splash photos of her alleged self harm all over the place, and make a huge issue of it. and kinda take the piss a bit aswell. i believe one headline read "feeling a bit lo are we lindsay?"
omg how witty....not.

eurgh.
it annoys me.

but i guess its kinda the same as the stuff people like pete docherty (sp) get for drugs....but i think its different.
i dont know.

what do you guys think?

I think it's unfair too.
Linday Lohan has every right to have a private life.
Why they have to see a few scars and immediately think she's self-harming, I don't know...

tbh it more like that judgemental way it has been portrayed, and it has been made out she is som completely unhinged nut case coz of it.

the pics in heat sparked off a rather uncomfortable discussion among people at school today about how disgusting and pathetic it made her look.
which is probably what annoyed me more lol

to be honest, if you are going to be famous i think it comes with the territory. if she doesn't want that **** she should stop making films/music and leave the public eye and get another job.

is it in this weeks heat?

i think in a way its good to tell us that celebrities self harm so 1)it makes us feel not alone 2)if done correctly it could provide info about sh to people that dont really no much bout it.....but i suspect they havent done to good a job of that...and 3)hopefully it points out to people that celebrities are actual people to and still have problems

its just a shame really that they take the piss out of it....

im gonna have a look on heat website to see if they have anything about it, cos i havent seen anything about it so cant really comment

What annoyed me was that in Look magazine, they said she'd been "free" from "Destructive behaivour" for 18 months and her family and close friends were upset by her relapse...
I'm sorry but is she not ALLOWED to relapse now she's been free for a little while?
Just because she got "better" doesn't mean that she would be free from now on. I stood in my Co-Op absolutely fuming. I hate that people want to know about celebrities problems but then completely slag them down as soon as they admit they have one!

I think its the same old- like if the media take to a person that is perceived to have had a difficult time they will support them whereas if they admit they have problems and the media have never been particular fans they are more likely to make fun of them. I think its kinda more making fun of Lindsay Lohan than making fun of the fact she self harms?

I also think the rise in gossip magazines that seem to go pretty much unregulated and can say what they like have something to do with it.
It really depends on a persons image ie Lindsay Lohan self harms = can mock her but when Kelly Holmes admitted self harming, maybe i just missed it, I dont remember anyone mocking her. Its like Lindsay Isnt taken seriously as a person therefore they dont have to regard her problems as serious.

I duno if that makes sense, i get my point muddled sometimes but I do wonder if they are just mocking the celebs rather than the issue, not that i'm condoning this at all, but it just seems that way a bit

She only showed her arms for the paparazzi to get media attention. Is what I think anyway. She's a pathetic, talentless waste of space.
I don't want to see her drunken face plastered everywhere, especially when I'm eating.
