Mental Health Week 2008 (Sunday 5th-11th October 2008)

Mental Health Week October 5 -11 2008 aims to activate, educate and engage Victorians around mental health and related issues through the organisation of a huge variety of events by individuals and organisations across the state.

The theme for Mental Health Week 2008 in Victoria is "Mental Health: What Do You Know?", asking each of us to expand our awareness and knowledge of mental health.

We also support World Mental Health Day on October 10th which is aiming to emphasise the importance of good mental and physical health at every stage of life. For further information on World Mental Health Day contact the World Federation for Mental Health at info@wfmh.com or visit www.wmhday.net.

I put it down on paper and then the ghost does not ache so much.

Don't try to calm the storm, calm yourself, the storm will pass.

You didn't come this far just to come this far.

Yeah in my nearest city on the 10th they are having booths with information and stuff in the city center

It's easier to run; Replacing this pain with something numb;It's so much easier to go;Than face all this pain here all alone;

Some people say courage is diving infront of a bullet, or bungy jumping off a bridge, but thats not true courage, true courage is facing everyday knowing that it won't be a happy go lucky day, but facing it anyway. It's facing your past, dealing with the present, and looking forward to brighter days.

our theme is "whats your global handprint"

The theme asks the questions: What are you doing to support effective change? What impact can you have on improving services? How can you participate in changing lives? What’s your mark going to be?

apparently its relevent...

Close your eyes so you don't feel them,
they don't need to see you cry....
