Can you help me work out a code please?

A couple of weeks ago I heard numbers being read out to me and most of these numbers had a 4 somewhere in them. They could range anything from 1 to a few million. But they mainly had 4's in them. This went on for a whole day. It was like it was in a hall and they were being read to me from a distance I didn't know where they were coming from. I told my psychiatrist about this and he raised my night time medication (not my morning medication so I wouldn't be knocked out for college.) He was concerned by what's going on lately with all the voices and the self harm thoughts and if I were to get any commands from the voices I would do them and he wants to see me in 6 weeks time.

But anyway back to the point...

I was in the bath today and suddenly these numbers were being read out to me and this time they had mostly 8's in them. I got really stressed out and tried knocking on my neighbours door, no answer, so I called my mum and told her. They were still there and wouldn't go away, a few hours later they faded but I can't help but feel like it's a code or a message that someone or some people are trying to tell me. It's worrying and I'm not sure what to do about it.

Can someone help me. Do you think I should call my psych? Is this normal?

*hugs* I have been trying to figure out a message to, and it was that i had to go on a mission to a city. the EIP team say if i do, i will get a section 2 on me.

People say to me that its not real, however it feels very real at the time. I dont really have any advice, just your not alone.

Do you think it could be something to do with your schizophrenia, as yoru psych give you more medication? x

I think hun, that it would be a good idea to inform your pych of whats going on with you right now

I understand that its really scary though and that this stuff seems real
but its just your mind playing tricks on you, the mind is a powerful thing remember

In all seriousness: perhaps inform a professional about this, won't hurt, I don't think...

I think it's a really good idea to inform your psych about this. It might be scary to do so, but it's for the best. We all want to see you be well...and you never know when this code might be turned into voices telling you to hurt others. Be on the safe side and call your psych.

Where did you get that answer from? I don't understand. I mean code as in could it be a date or a telephone number. I am going to call my psych and tell him about the numbers and stuff. It's all so confusing you see. Thank you for your kind replies xx

Ah it was a lame joke, Douglas Adams refers to 42 as being the answer to all of life's problems in his book A Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy.

It's 'her'. Well I'm sorry I tried to bring a bit of light heartedness into this. Anyway it's not important though the book is a good read to cheer you up.
