the first couple of weeks are the hardest and then it will start to settle down, I hope you are alright and just remember you are doing this for yourself, you are the most important person at the minute, you will make new friends at uni and your mom will probably appreciate the time you spend with her after you move away. x

Student loans messed mine up too, but I'm sure it won't be too much later. Make lists of what you need to pack and it makes it easier, believe me its worth the extra time.
I'm sure things will settle down, everyone I know including myself is stressed about going.
Sorry if this hasnt helped

Once you get to uni, you will develop a routine that helps you feel comfortable.
It sounds like you understand what is going on, but it still stinks what your mom is doing.

My husband is my best friend.
In forgiving others, we are not exonerating them. They may not deserve exoneration. Rather, in forgiving others we are giving up our anger over the fact that what happened is not what "should" have happened or that our life is not the way it "should" have been.
