Strike Through

I know that Aimee in Wonderland started a thread about this before here but I didn't want to bump it up because it's so old. I've seen a few people with it in their siggys and was wondering how you do it please? Thanks for your help.

Bumping is good...especially in this forum as it stops the questions being asked again.

I'm not sure how to do strike through though, sorry. It may well be coding.

Like this you mean?

Yes it is possible, and is part of a number of custom codes that can be used to do various things...indeed a lot more than v2 can do before anyone thinks they are missing out :P

simply [s ]put your text in BB code like this (without the spaces)[/s ]

I will provide details of this, and many more to go into the Guide to RYL FAQ... and other ones include advanced tags allowing you to hide text in a post, which is only viewable when someone clicks a button. This is ideal for spoilers, or for triggering details in posts.

More info coming soon. I barely ever see anyone using strike-throughs...not enough (if you ask me) to have it as a button... but I can of course do that if really needed.

Harley
just do the same in your sig around whatever you need the line through. Hope that helps

Nah, you have to use the square brackets for BB code.

Like so.

I see it in your eyes
You'll be alright

Yeah the <> is for HTML which doesn't work on RYL.

Well it breaks my heart to see you this way,
The beauty in life, where's it gone?
And somebody told me you were doing okay,
Somehow I guess they were wrong.
