I ruined a surprise baby shower... I feel so bad...
It's my cousin's girlfriend. She has like... 40 days to go till the baby comes and about 3 weeks ago I asked her when she was going to have a baby shower and she told me that she didn't know, but whenever it was, I was definately invited. So Josh (my cousin/the father) called me... maybe 5 days ago telling me that the shower was on saturday (tomorrow) and the address, but he never told me it was a secret shower and he never told me what time. So I, being the idiot that I am, sent Rosie( the mother) a message on myspace (don't know her #) asking her wat time the shower was going to be and if there was anything in particular that she wanted for her or the baby. Then she sends me a message back saying "babyshower???" then Josh sends me a message saying that it is a secret and to get neutral colors 'cus they don't know what gendar it is... so i'm sure Rosie asked josh about it and he came up with some lie... but I kow she knows now and I feel like s#!t because i single handedly f!@#ed up her surprise baby shower. Just someone please tell me I'm not that stupid... blah just make me feel better because I don't even want to go to the d@^m shower now... i feel like just dropping off a gift with josh and they can thank me for it later or something
It's really not your fault. Pretty much all surprise parties etc.. the person finds out or knows somethings going on anyway! As long as her friends/family are there and she gets nice things it really won't matter wether she knew or not!

With demons dancing off mirror images reflecting all that you wanted.
So far from perfect, onward we will strive.
Take it for what it's worth, this truth that you've realized.
You're not who you thought you were, it's time to see the other side of what you have become.
Frankly it's his fault for not expressly saying "DON'T TELL ROSIE IT'S A SECRET". You couldn't have known, don't feel bad.
He probably made up some lie after you texted her so she may well still not know about it. I wouldn't worry about it.
I ruined my mother's surprise birthday party last year, because I had actually been told it was a surprise, but I got drunk and phoned her the night before and asked a really obvious question about it. I felt a bit stupid then! So don't worry, everyone does things like this.

Reason: made no sense!
Don't beat yourself up about it, like you said you didn't know it was a surprise, so really, it's not your fault.
Anyway, hardly any surprises things, are actually surprises and really at the end of it, it's just the fact that people have tried to arrange a surprise for you.
Just forget it, and go to the baby shower, i'm sure you'll have a good time.

It's so easy to get lost in constantly having to present
whatever face you believe a person wants to see rather than your own
=D Thank you guys!!!! I do feel alot better. I called my friend and told her about what happened, and she said that it's happened to her before and that I'll laugh about it later, so that made me feel good. Then I called Josh and he said that he lied to Rosie about it and now she doesn't suspect a thing, so I feel kinda better about that... Then he said I better be at the shower tomorrow so I do feel so much better! Thank you guys, I really was freaking out over something not so bad. I hope my friend's right and I laugh about it later haha
I'm sure you weren't the only one he forgot to tell the time too, so it's entirely possible someone else will say something to her too!
Well it breaks my heart to see you this way,
The beauty in life, where's it gone?
And somebody told me you were doing okay,
Somehow I guess they were wrong.
