Ok, so my friends who plays the guitar pretty well and also records music...infact he in my recording partner, and we have recorded a fair few peoples albums, sent me a bunch of files of guitar riffs he had made up for me to sing over.
Well, my intentions were good but I never got around to it. Until last night when I was going through my recieved files and came accross one, and imediatly a bunch of words srang in my head and I dropped everything to write them down.
Today I recorded them with a bunch of other singy bits, and I need people to tell me what they think.
It's my friend playing the guitar, and I do all teh vocals including the chuch choir boy...bits. You'll see.
There are times to stay put, and what you want will come to you.
But there are times to go out into the world and find such a thing for yourself.
I aint no abacus but you can count on me.
i like it. :) you've got a nice voice, you sound posher than i'd thought but maybe thats just me being a common northerner!
Danz is the only one who says I don't sound posh.
Thanks everyone. The guitarist isn't too happy with it. He likes it, but he doesn't like the way I've left the quiet bits blank, and he's changed it, which means I would have to record it all over again.
So looks like this one will a one off - never to be put on CD or played live.
