Everything going wrong

You might have seen my post in Vets general, that the hospital suspect I may be showing signs of going into labour early. While I can't do anything about it, the extra pain added to the pain from my hips is getting me down.

Putting the icing on the cake, Rusty's money hasn't turned up, he's been on the phone today and yesterday and got nowhere. They keep saying 'we'll call you back' but never do. Apparently they've managed to wipe his details off the computer

It means that, apart from having no money generally, we can't go and spend the week with my parents and grandparents like we'd planned. We were hoping to drive down yesterday and have a few days away to try and relax, but we can't afford the fuel. I feel really gutted about that, with all that's going on at the moment I could really do with having a hug from my dad and a chat with my mum.

Tomorrow we're going to get up early and go and sit in the jobcentre until we get some money, because this is just ridiculous. How are we meant to afford to get to hospital appointments, or pay for decent food to eat?

I don't have any advice, but wanted to make sure that you know that I've read your post.
*hugs you*

My husband is my best friend.

In forgiving others, we are not exonerating them. They may not deserve exoneration. Rather, in forgiving others we are giving up our anger over the fact that what happened is not what "should" have happened or that our life is not the way it "should" have been.

Spent the morning in the job centre speaking to different people, and it looks like we'll get our money this afternoon, so I can go and stay with my family for a while. Evan my mum said she's looking forward to me coming over, which is most unlike her to say something like that! Expecting her first grandchild must be mellowing her lol.

I didn't go to my aquanatal class today, partly cos we were sorting out this money, and partly cos I was feeling quite tired and tearful this morning cos I'm still not sleeping. Maybe a change of scenery and a proper bed will help.

I've got things to keep me occupied anyway, I've packed the hospital bag (just in case) and it's rusty's 35th birthday on sunday. He doesnt make much of a big deal of it, cos his mums funeral 4 years ago was right before his birthday, so it brings back painful memories. But I've promised him I'll make a cake - he wants a chocolate one, so that's what I'll do
