What made your day?

Today I was at work, exhausted because last night I'd stayed up till 1:30 trying to get my feed reader to work. (Which it still isn't, but oh well. I'll figure it out). It'd been a really slow day, and then I get this one customer who, when whoever she's with is done paying says "You have pretty hair". And I'm kind of too shocked to say anything but thanks. I've never had a stranger tell me I had pretty hair before, its just been my friends who have to be nice to me XD But I also don't think I have nice hair because I have to straighten it every day just for it to look (and feel) normal. The opposite of a customers_suck moment.

And when I got home from work today, I got greeted both by my older dog and my new puppy, who I guess is finally getting to know us. I was attacked on both sides by kisses, which was adorable. (Although Nala sort of bites when she kisses, but it was so cute).

Happy tiem nao. Does anyone else have something random like that crazy random happenstance that brightened their day?

And I just got a really nice email.
I say really nice, it was just small, but when you've only replied to a reference request, it was a little thing that made me smile.

It's not much but it made me smile and think "Oh ****, I best learn some songs".

A text message from an old friend telling me he still loves me...s'nice to hear. Been thinking about him a lot recently and realised how much i miss him so it was one of those brilliant coincidences. it made me smile a lot
