I am currently:
Feeling hopeful...

I'm almost 3 weeks free now. Everyday is still a battle with the urges... but I literally am trying everything I can think of to distract me...
and I'm starting with a counsellor on wednesday, which I'm nervous about, but I know it has to be done. I know that it will help me to get to the route of my problems, but that's what is so scary, because I've kept everything buried for so long that I'm scared about what I'll find. Can anyone tell me what I should expect from my first session... I'm so nervous about it.

Congratualations!! Thats fantastic news!! Well done for finding the courage to go see a councellor too.....I`m afraid i can`t help you with what to expect but just try to keep in mind the long term benefits even if at first it is scary and painful.

Well done on 3 weeks, thats an amazing achievement. Your first session of counselling will just be about your counsellor getting to know you, finding out what you want from the sessions and maybe even setting up some goals. Also first sessions are usually scarey but over time it does usually get easier. Take care and best of luck with your new counsellor.

hey guys!! thanks for all the support... thought i would update you all on how the counsellor went... i survived my first session woohoo!!!
it was really tough like and i didnt particularly like it but i suppose you're not really suposed to... and it lasted an extra hour than it was supposed to haha...
but she convinced me to tell my parents and i did... was the hardest thing i've ever had to do... but since i have things have really been easier... I'm not carrying around a huge secret anymore... and they're being so supportive... although they are still in a bit of shock but thats to be expected...
so everything is looking hopeful now...
