re:anxiety

was up at 0930 today as that was when mum got up and she got me up because i was to phone the doctors. i did and it was as soon as i got up. no appts. they go ****ing quick these days dont they. i wouldnt say to the receptionist it was an emergency bcos it isnt in the GP respect..if any.
so theres that. i cant stop writing loads and loads, long sentences and all for meaning one short thing. ive got loads and loads of nervous energy and since i got my laptop online again i try to filter it onto here in what i believe to be ways that r worth it.
i still do think i need medication for the anxiety [i dunno if i metnioned that b4] i think beta blockers would be the best. propanolol cos i wont get addicted etc like valium and the like.
i went into Dunstable with my mum to the library, asda and argos and it was hugely stressful and agitation inducing. but i wasnt unpleasant to be with otherwise my mum wouldv pulled me up on it. but this isnt who i am. i dont get like this over a short trip to town to get a few things.
i dont know what else to say. i didnt sleep till gone 3 this morning.
try for the GPs again tomorrow?

i dont like being so on edge constantly. so anxious. i really dont. im not looking to ask for something i shouldnt have am i? propanolol. i been on alot more heftier medications i can tell you. but i just dont know if im going the right way about this.

I've found that if i want an appointment on the same day, I have to phone as soon as the office opens.

I think instead of telling your GP what med you need, ask him/her what he recommends? Based on what you need and what you are worried about?

When I broke my ankle, I knew a pain killer was appropriate, but I also told my doc that I have an addictive personality and that changed what he prescribed.

Hope this helps?

In forgiving others, we are not exonerating them. They may not deserve exoneration. Rather, in forgiving others we are giving up our anger over the fact that what happened is not what "should" have happened or that our life is not the way it "should" have been.

getting a bit worked up about the app already :/
it's at 0950. takes me bout 10 mins to get there. been talking to mum bour what i should say. not gna barn storm in there asking for a specific medication that i think i know i should go on. they wont like it. whyhavent i learnt that from before. gna go in and say ive been very anxious all the time. thati was going to make an emergency psych appt but that i thought i'd start here..instead.
cos wouldnt it be a more complex app with the psych, or would it be better. not a question i cant get stuck in some kinda mad thought spiral about that i just hope i'll get a prescription from the GP and then im gna go on and pick the meds..if im prescribed any.
mum was about to start telling me how to get to the chemist where i'll pick the up but i just cut her off b4 she sed and sed im not gna remember whatu tell me. its ok tho, i am glad she understands why i am like i am for the most part atm. im gna phone her when i get out the surgery so thats better. she can havemy panicked ramblings on the phone instead =]
im rele hoping calm down meds will sort out alot thats with me atm...gotta leave..thanks for reading...
