question: i don't want S to get in trouble, what can i do?

on wednesday when i was out with S from early intervention, i excused myself to go in a chemist's. i bought a load of tablets and when i came out she asked if i'd got anything she should tell my parents about, i said no.
then wednesday night mum has a dream about me oberdosing and yesterday went through my stuff, found the tablets.
she asked me when i got them and without thinking i told the truth, that i'd got them the day before while out with S.
mum said she would phone her today to ask if she really had let me go in a chemist's without her, and S will probably admit it and mum will get majorly pissed off.

i know i made this mess myself but i hate to think someone else'll get in trouble too.

Just explain the situation - tell her that S said "is there anything I should tell your parents about?". It would probably help to get S out of trouble a little bit. If your mum won't listen to what you say, try writing her a letter about it. She can argue with you and cut you off but can't do the same to a letter.
