Okay so as some of you know... this year has been a major struggle with me applying to Uni.
I wanted to apply to an Art and Design course.. and the odds of actually getting in are like 1 in 8. So it's pretty competative. Anyways, Christmas time came and my mum's friend who is an Art Teacher came and destroyed all my dreams by saying I wasn't good enough and there was no chance of me getting in. I was crushed. But I got up, and fought on. I applied and was given a Conditional offer. The conditions being that I passed my Higher English exam. My exam results came out today... And...
I PASSED!
Gray's School of Art here I come!
Screw all the people who said I couldn't do it! I proved them wrong! :D
And I also want to say a special big thanks for everyone who supported me this year. It's really meant a lot and it really has helped me going. (you know who you are).
So basically, the message of this thread, don't let other people drag you down.. Rise up and fight against them and prove the buggers wrong!

I intend to send pictures of my graduation to my father who told me I would amount to nothing and threw me out, I haven't spoken to hm since. So this will be a big 2 fingers in the air towards him.
