What to do when you can't afford help?

Are there other options for those of us who cannot afford professional help? Because I honestly feel like I am entirely out of options. Talking only sort of helps, and it's usually just temporary. I feel like I'm in need of either hospitalization or medication.

I was considering checking myself into a hospital until I discovered that hospitals here also require money. Go figure. I'm kind of getting to the point where I don't feel like I can even afford to be alive.

Sorry.
I've kind of poked around online looking for groups in my area but so far have turned up empty. I think perhaps I'm not looking in the right places.

We have a place here called CompCare which offers income-based therapy. I haven't been able to make it there to check for sure, but someone I know that went there said I'd probably be charged 20 bucks. Which sadly, is still pretty steep. It's also on the other end of town, and what with the price of gas these days, it's kind of out of the question.

I think I might try that the next time I get the house to myself. I live with my mother and she's overly nosy about everything, haha.

Not sure if this is appropriate or not. http://www.suicide.org/support-group...rt-groups.html

There are lots more about though. I just googled 'lexington, kentucky, support group, mental health' so if you play about with any of those combinations you should find some good stuff.
Wow, thank you so much. I don't know how I managed to miss these, but I guess it has been a while since I searched. Some of these look like they could be helpful. I'll have to make some calls.
