anti depressants
On Sunday had some bad news and reacted by not taking my anti depressants. Up until then I had been taking 200mg Sertraline and 15mg Mirtazipine a day. Have taken day off work today because I feel extremely tired, irritable, low and nausea. Do I need to see my dr or if I start taking them again will I start to feel better? The trouble is I go through periods when I just don't want to look after myself - I stop eating, stop taking meds, not sleeping e.t.c. Any advice?

Yet if you should forget me for a while,
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.

I see a psychotherapist but I don't talk to her (i don't feel comfortable talking to her).
It was a pretty childish thing to stop taking my meds but I wanted to feel how I really felt and in a way punish myself by being ill. Thanx for support, really helps.

Even as the stone of the fruit must break that its heart may stand in the sun, so must you know pain.
There are only two ways in which one can live their life. One is as though nothing is a miracle, the other is as though everything is.

If you missed more than a couple doses of your meds, I reccomend atleast calling your doctor's office and letting them know, ask if you should take the full dose again or if you need to work your way back up to it.

I can't talk to my therapist because when I walk into the room we both sit there in silence. It's uncomfortable silence and I feel myself shrinking. She says 'um' an awful lot and she just doesn't get me. It's not her fault - I should be talking but I just can't.
I stopped taking meds for lots of reasons. I didn't get a job that I applied for which I really wanted. The only person in my current job who was supporting me has been suspended and I can't contact. But the biggest reason is that this weekend I am due to see my supposed 'dad' and I'm dreading it.
