General Medical Question - Urgent - Stitches or no?
I've got 2 cuts which concern me. They're recent (at the time of posting - 30mins ago). I wouldn't say they were extremely deep, but I can see some "stuff" White and Brown(which could be dried blood?). 1 is just over an inch long and the other is deeper but shorter. They both stopped bleeding within 15 minutes of applied pressure. I've tried butterfly bandages, but the one wound refuses to close - the edges won't come together right. I've never had this problem before, so I'm concerned. Should I go to the ER? Try my best at butterfly-ing them?

If butter fly bandages wont hold a wound together, then you should get it checked out, dosnt matter if it bleeds or not. The sooner you get it looked at the better.
Take care

If butterfly's won't hold it together then it definitely needs cleaning and stitching. I would highly recommend this. I've not had stitches on wounds that really need stitches and they don't heal as quick as they should and the scarring is awful, plus the risk of infection is high.
Get it checked out

Just a little update, I was all good and ready to go. In fact, I was in my car, but I chickened out at the last second. I wrapped them up and put some neosporin on. They're still a bit pink around the edges, and they aren't looking incredibly nice. But they're healing fine...I think. So yea, the only problem is the pink and the fact that one starting bleeding again(but I got it to stop after an hour)

hey hun, although i would strongy suggest getting them looked at-if they start bleeding again especially; you *can* look after them yourself if you make sure you keep them clean etc and are prepared for some pretty bad scarring. take care of you sweetie, and please go to get them seen to if they start bleeding again/start looking nasty.
