Pagan-friendly therapists in the US

I live in the USA and I am a Pagan...
and in the past the only therapists/counselors I have been able to find have been "Christian" ones.
Now, that's not to say that I have anything against Christian people... I love Christians... but they always talked about "trusting God" and "praying" and stuff that I personally don't believe in, and I'm sorry, but isn't their job to help me? Isn't that what they are paid to do?
How is telling me to "trust God and pray" going to help me when I don't believe that way????

So.... up to now I have flat out refused to even try to find another therapist, because in the past I had no luck, do what's the the point trying now... ya know? *sigh*

I don't know of any, but if you go to a pagan church/place of worship, they might know of a counsellor or therapist who is of the faith who can help you. *hugs* Good luck on your search!

Forums and sites related to Alternative health and therapies are also a good place to start - in the UK we have healthypages.net. I'm sure there's a US equivalent. In the UK we also have metta.org for listings and such. Once again, I'm sure there are US equivalents.
