Looking bad as well as feeling it...
I've been on a rather drastic diet for the past 3 weeks - I lost 6 lbs in the first 6 days & have lost stone up to now.
There's a part of me that wants this to be a sensible life changing thing but there's another part of me that want's to look ill - I know this sounds awful.
I want to look as bad on the outside as I feel on the inside. I don't want attention - I don't need it - I have enough proffessional support in my life & a wonderful girlfriend.
When I start to feel better emotionally I'll want to recover physically.
Does that sound sick or strange?

hunni, you need to fix the inside, which can only be done by getting proper help. The eating is your way of numbing the pain, but darling it doesnt take it away. in the long term you will seriously harm your health and still feel no better on the inside. i can see where you're coming from but this isnt the way. Does you're girl friend know about how you feel, and if not maybe you could share you're feelings with her, so she can help you get through this.
i hope this wasnt useless,
please take care of you hun and pm me if anything.

*huggles* Hun, It makes sense to me. But it doesn't seem worth it, why fix to things when only one is broken? Double the work, and getting ill can put recovery back along way.
Can you talk to your girlfriend about how your feeling sweetie?
Or a counsellor or someone?
Stay Safe hun and Take Care. Tis good to see you around.

Sweetheart, the thing is is that if you let yourself become ill on the outside then you won't get better on the inside for much more longer than if you was healthy on the outside. You will get caught up in the ED mindset, and that won't allow you to want to get better, and it will just cause you more upset and the bad feeling which surely you don't want.
Can you speak to your girlfriend about this?
Or someone professional.
You're a good person sweetheart =)
Chloe. xx
