Natural Anxiety Remedies

Hey, I'm just posting to ask if anyone can give me any information on natural or herbal remedies for anxiety and how it helps

I was looking around and I think I might have symptoms of Avoidant Personality Disorder but I don't want to go to the doctors about it because of bad experiences I've had with them

My friend said that it might help to just try and get around the anxiety I have with everything

Thanks for any help you can give

Hey.
I know St John's Wort is good for depression/anxiety, and it's a herbal pill you take once a day. You'd have to research though cos it reacts with some medications, like the pill.
I'm about to start something called 5htp/5hcp (I never remember) but it's for my depression rather than my anxiety, so I'm not sure how helpful it is for anxiety.
Have you had a look on the internet for anything? I hope someone more useful replies and you find something.

I've got ham but I'm not a hamster :)

I use Passiflora [Natracalm brand] when I know things could make me anxious, or when I feel very anxious and panicky. [NB you can't take in with MAOI anti-depressants though.]
I also find Bach Flower Remedies really helpful. Rescue Remedy is a good all round one.

I used the Rescue Remedy for a while, but I didn't find it that great. It didn't really make a dent on my anxiety. I'm going to try the Calms stuff as well though, it's meant to be really good. Holland and Barratts sells it apparently. .

But if i still believe you love me, maybe i'll survive.
So i tell myself you're coming home, like you've done a million times.
& if it's alright, i'll still be loving you.
'cause i can't break it to my heart.
