Does this happen to anyone else?

apparently, my windows media player doesnt wanna play nice with RYL. if i have it running, it makes my music skip whenever i click anything on here. I brought my cd player in here to make it stop cuz it was annoying the hell outa me so im not going nutty and demanding a fix, just curious if it does it to anybody else or if theres a known reason

Is your computer low on memory?
Also Live view on RYL can make some things ru slower due to memory shortage.
I dont have a problem running it though.

Perhaps it's because you have too much running on your machine? Your computer can only handle so much and, depending on what machine you have and such, it could be that it just cannot handle running Windows Media Player and RYL at the same time.

RYL is a lot more advanced now and there's many more fancy buttons and gadgets to use so perhaps you want to see about monitoring the number of programmes you have running at the same time - also, remember that usually your computer has programmes running in the background as well. I know my anti-virus software scans my computer every time it's turned on, and that can slow things down a bit if I'm trying to do a lot at the same time but, generally, I can have tons of windows and programmes running without it causing a problem with any of them. I regularly have iTunes on whilst being on RYL and loading pages on my browser and such has never interrupted it in the slightest.

Have you recently run a spyware scan? Often software running in the backround when the browser is run will cause the computer to use way more resources than it should do.

I advise you go to goodle and download Adaware Personal by Lavasoft. It is free and won't take long to scan.

Whether or not that fixes it, it is sure to help!

But yeah, as the others have said, this must be something to do with low memory on your machine really

Harley is "Goodle" a new search engine or something that I don't know about?! :P

Kitty, RYL contains heaps of clientside Javascript now which can work your browser hard - as Harley suggests, there is almost certainly something else going on here too.

Get the b/f to make himself useful and sort it for you! ;)
